I'm the site editor for lonelyplanet.com. Yes, it is fun.
Before joining the online team, I was a travel-guide author and editor. I've worked on scores of books - covering every continent except Antarctica - and dreamed up countless ideas (both good and terrible!) for travellers.
I've lived in India, Pakistan, the USA (both coasts) and Indonesia, but I'm currently upside-down in Melbourne, Australia. I still hit the road whenever I can.
I'm slowly recovering from the festive season and looking forward to what January will bring. I'm also mulling over a trip to Western Australia or potentially Singapore for whenever I can escape the desk.
